Ozphoria was a concept set up in June of 2002. The basic idea of the site was to create a small community for Smashing Pumpkins fans residing in Australia. In the beginning, the site was created primarily the already strong community of Australians from the Official Smashing Pumpkins message board. Ozphoria was created by Simon Mateljan [sunky] and is run in conjunction with his partner and wife Bree Mateljan [blue_june_destroyer]. dylan	Apr 13 2008 9:34 AM The Smashing Pumpkins kick ass in melbourne 2 weeks ago...but they didn't play an encore due to the fact that most of the crowd were talking during 'my blue heaven' and the acoustic version of 'Thats the way (my love is)'...that pisses me off!! billy corgan's acoustic songs are just as good as when he plays with the band....WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMNIG TOO....THERE WERE METROS AT THIS CONCERT!!!! they have the right to be there but when they talk during a performance ...that pisses me off...other than that...MIND BLOWING CONCERT!!!.. im am thankful for such great music. thank you Smashing Pumpkins and thank you Ozphoria for bringing Smashing pumpkins fans in Oz together.
