my favorite music is music i'm hearing for the first time. i've had a lot of years to enjoy music -- there is too much to list here, but just know that what i listen to includes, hip hop, indie rock, punk, industrial, metal, goth, emo, rockabilly, classic country, swing, be bop, progressive and abstract jazz, samba, bossa nova, fado, cajun, zydeco, blues, ranchera, banda, cumbia, stornelli, flamenco, afrobeat, griot, highlife, juju, reggae, salsa, soukous, zouk, qawwali, j-pop, hawaiian, tango, classical and devotional music from all cultures, plus all remixes and mashups i can find.

i watch 4 or more movies on dvd per week plus tv, never go to movie theaters anymore, i usually say my favorite movies include, 81/2, in the mood for love, repo man, the ice storm, house of the flying daggers, bejing bicylce, and casablanca. but, there's many more.
