an Online TV Show about Local Bands in San Francisco
Since the first episode on February 8 2006, Pacific Noise has been introducing you to all the best new local bands in the area. Our goal is to amplify the potential of the local music scene.
At this moment there is a huge amount of great independent music coming from SF.
Listeners are looking for new sounds by using methods that are outside the traditional mainstream radio and cable tv. While the big music media tries to "figure it out", there are so many bands who are getting lost along the way. Most of the bands we feature are releasing albums and planning tours and it's all DIY. And to me, the music being made by these local bands is way more exciting than any thing i hear on the radio.
So each week, we film one feature episode with a different local band and publish the episode each Monday.
