if my life were a movie the soundtrack would be done
by ryan adams. appropriately titled, "the life and death of
paco estrada(ryan adams greatest hits)" not too much dialogue
cause his lyrics would tell the story as the scenes washed by.
for this specific record they would bring in fiona apple to do all
the harmonies. and as a bonus track, trent reznor/tori amos would
cover something like "sweet carolina," or "come pick me up."
"ya'll don't want to hear me, ya'll just wanna dance." -a. benjamin
"i don't know how i'm suppose to feel, all i can pray for is that you will." -k. baxley
"why do we fall? so we can learn to pick ourselves up." -t. wayne(bruce wayne's father)
"sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same" -i. slade
"where are we and what the hell is going on?
" -i. heap
"don't say i don't cut, when i do" -d. palumbo
"I've been thinking bout my doorbell when you gonna ring it, when you gonna ring it?" -j. white
"love is a battlefield" -p. benatar
"life is like a burning building sometimes. if there is something you just can't live without, you got to get in, grab it, and get the fuck out of there as fast as you can. it seems logical to not enter a burning building. and most of us just stand on the street watching life as it goes up in flames." -p. estrada
