About me: Paddington Arts is a Youth Arts organisation committed to developing talent and creativity in the community. We encourage young people to use the arts for self-expression and career development. The values at the heart of our work are access, excellence, education and fun.
We run a dedicated Performing Arts and Media Center for young people in West London, offering workshops in Dance, Drama, Video, Singing and Design and produce original work for stage and screen.
Paddington Arts offers a unique series of ‘stepping stones’ for local young people, many of whom will use the project, its workshops and activities all the way through from 6 years old to 16 plus. Our workshop approach has proved its success in enhancing life skills and developing talent and leadership abilities from the youngest age group upwards.
For its older visitors Paddington Arts offers a high standard of training and support, careers advice and guidance, including a network of referrals to potential employers and colleges and unique opportunities to work with professional artists, such as Choreographers, Theatre and Television Directors, Theatre Designers, Costume Designers – to create new and original work. Many members have gone on to work in the cultural industries, as performers, tutors and technicians, and to other arts and media courses and training.

These workshops are open to young people between the ages of 6 and 26. They are held after school and evenings and last approximately 1 hour.
Performing Groups
Our Performing Groups are accessible by audition only, which are held annual at the end of the academic year. Currently there are the 6-10’s PG and the 11-15s. Each term our Performing Groups work with different choreographers and perform the works in a variety of shows and events held at Paddington Arts and other venues around London.

These Awards are offered to all our members and consist of three levels at Bronze, Silver and Gold. They focus on achievement and attendance and are best for members who attend on a regular basis. Currently we offer Dance Award and Singing Award.
