Paddy's Interests
General
Jesus, my wife, theology, philosophy, sci-fi, Scooby Doo, Moxie (the oldest softdrink in the U.S. and the official soda of Maine), my heritage (Celtic), law enforcement and military related things, fishing, shooting, painting, Peeps (those marshmallow candies), Reese's candies, strange and exoctic foods from around the world, and so much more.
Music
Styles: Celtic Traditional(Irish Rovers, Chieftains, etc.)Celtic Rock (Black 47, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, etc.), Celtic New Age (Enya, Clannad, etc.), Metal (Iron Maiden, Metal Church, Metallica, etc.), Reggae (UB40, Matisyahu, Christafari, Musical Youth), Old School Rap (Run DMC, Beastie Boys, Salt & Peppa, etc.), Christian Rock (Skillet, Third Day, Newsboys), Contemporary Christian & Worship (Todd Agnew, Casting Crowns, etc.), 80's Pop/Rock (Men Without Hats, Men at Work, The Police, etc.), Punk (Misfits, Ramones, Bad Religion, Offspring, Pennywise, etc.), World Music (Peruvian, Latin Jazz, and African Rythems), and a little bit of everything else as well.
Movies
I pretty much like military, action, sci-fi, and deeply theologic or philosophic films. My favorite movie of all time would be a tie between The Rock and Heartbreak Ridge. Also up there includes: The Passion of the Christ, Luther, Master and Commander, Tears of the Sun, Spaceballs, War of the Worlds (old and new), V, Starship Troopers, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, anything by Abbott and Costello, Goonies, most 80's teen flicks and comedies, Braveheart (any Mel Gibson film really), Rob Roy, and so on.
Television
Favorite shows of all time: V (the sci-fi series and mini-series about alien lizards who want to eat us and drink our water) and World of Valor (a Discovery Channel military series in the 90's about special forces from around the world). Currently, I like 24, The Black Donnellys, Heroes, and Battlestar Galactica. Beyond that, I'll watch a little bit of everything, especially Scooby Doo.
Books
Any of C.S. Lewis' writings, anything by Ravi Zacharias, Brother Lawrence's "Practice of the Presence of God", Rob Bell's "Velvet Elvis", Don Miller's "Blue Like Jazz", Brad Stine's "Being a Christian Without Being an Idiot", Douglas Adam's "Hitchiker's Guide" series, and currently, Shane Claiborne's "Irresistible Revolution" (if you're a Christian and you wanna be challenged, read this).
Heroes
Heroes of the faith... Jesus (he's my God), Paul, Moses, Thomas, and the guy who told Jesus that he believed but still wanted help for his disbelief.
If I could have make-believe heroes, they'd be Scooby Doo and Yoda. But...
Beyond that... Anyone who places others above themselves. Currently, the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces, dealing with wars and disasters.
About me:
Me in a nutshell: I'm a Christ-follower(#1), a husband (devoted to my Mellie), a republicrat (not red, nor blue; purple), a Celt by heritage, a person who doesn't do well in the extremes--be that weather or epistimology, and I have a burden to connect with people so as to connect them with Christ. Anything more ya wanna know... just ask.
Hey Paddy, I just bought you as my PET! Click here to find out how much I think you're worth!
This is a simple mercenary transaction. Your current value is $550 in game cash. If I buy you and give you away, I get $1,000 for giving you away. So I almost double my profit! =D
Love ya!

I'm sorry the evening ended up so badly for you guys. Your mom and Michele and I are going to try and meet for lunch sometime this month. I hope you can make it. I hope we all can!
Hi Patrick, thanks for adding me. Do you go by Patrick, Pat or Paddy? I'm happy for this chance to get to know you. The Swan and Coryell branches have been trying to re-connect. We keep trying to plan a lunch (even before your Moms birthday)I hadn't thought much about the younger generation in that, but it would be fun to try. Do you work 9-5 M-F? We can work around that, your Aunt Michele seems to work 24/7.
