Padreisla borns on October’s 2005. During an Independent music festival, just walking in Padreisla street (Leon city) when begins the idea of create a band...

Initially, Padreisla was created as a duo and later as a quartet. The current formation of the band is: Jose Chinesta (Vocals), Sebastian Belacovsky (Synths), Victor Vanden Eynde (Drums) and Raul Digon (Guitars).

Little by little, but simultaneously non-stop, they start composing his first demos and compositions. Initially, Padreisla doesn’t make a certain style and his music crosses a wide range of influences that range between electronic sounds and electropop.

They feel great devotion for big mythical groups of the eighties, current and soloists in general, like:

Joy division, David Bowie, Megabeat, Covenant, And One, Front 242, Kraftwerk, New Order, Gabinete Caligari, Depeche Mode, Decima victima, Wolfsheim, Ultravox, B-Movie, Nitzer Ebb, Rammstein, OMD, She wants revenge, Depeche Mode, The Smiths, Siouxsie & the Banshess, Placebo, echo and the bunnymen... and more.

After a short period of time of composition and without a lot of songs, they begin to give his first concerts in theaters and festivals like:

Sala Arrikitown (Cornella),Festival Tendencias FMI (Barcelona), Sala Picadilly downtown club (Valencia), FEA festival (Barcelona), Sala Nasti (Madrid), Existence festival (Valencia), Sala Factory (Barcelona), Sala Rock & apples (Calella), Festival Hallowean BCN, (Barcelona), Dark christmas festival BCN (Barcelona), Mephisto (Barcelona), etc...

Padreisla has taken part in the production / composition of songs, of groups of the “Barcelona movida”, like: Lorena C, PinkGlove, Siberia ... and also it has been carried in several occasions in magazines, fanzines (like MONDO SONORO), and shortcut’s original sondtrack (V - de vicio). Also they have participated with their music, in MONDO FUTURA compilation, by cortesy of Bon vivant records (“La Rebelión de los Electrodomésticos”) dedicated to bands of the electronic scene. In the Vol. 1 we can found Assman, Padreisla, Wonderful Cosmetics, Trigger, Oblique, Estado Avanzado, Isaac Junkie, Lorena C and Lethargy ( +info: www.bonvivantrecords.tk ). And currently Padreisla is selected among one of more than 90 bands, to form a part in the second edition of the compilation (electronicautor vol.2). The artists that was selected in the first compilation of electronicautor was Cycle, Wonderfool Cosmetics, DZ, Sick of sound, Dj Voyage, Jazzt, Jonathan Badichi, Marcos Legazpi, Aqeel & Kane, Suffer Duo, Templar & Birdy, Sonora foundation, Waves 4 All and AZ Rotator. Great artists of national electronic scene all of them. They take part of the in the second issue of electronicautos compilation, also created with bands and soloists of the nation electronic scene. They have been explored to take part in more projects and currently is available a demo, titled with in the same name of the group, Padreisla. This demo includes seven tracks: Basta ya! , la verdad, otra oportunidad, gotas de agua caen and three bonus tracks: No hay quien te entienda!, el amor nos separara (spanish cover of Love will tear us apart by Joy division) y club del suicidio.

Nowadays Padreisla is working in his first sonorous experiment of long duration and waiting that some label bets for his music.
