PAGAN BABIES
is an American hardcore punk band from Philadelphia PA. founded by Michael J. McManus, vocals and lyrics, Eric Squadroni, lead guitar,
Mark Pingitore, bass, Dan McGinnis, rhythm guitar, and Bruce Boyd, drums. From their first practices in the Fall of 1986 to their last shows in the Winter of 1989,
the Pagan Babies were an active and influential band who left their mark on the hardcore/punk community.
Pagan Babies are considered one of the early pioneers for fusing hardcore punk with rap, hip hop and rock.
They are equally noted for their graffiti styled album art work created by the drummer Bruce Boyd.
Although the Pagan Babies are no longer together, the band still forms yearly to play local shows in the Philadelphia area.
You guys kick ass (or was that kicked?) No mind, some kick ass classic 'core which takes me way back in a good way! Cheers for the accept, if I wasn't so old & deaf I'd start my own pit right here (imaginary friends don't hit so hard) Cheers from New Zealand Richie (Wasn't Ms Love's other band called Pagan Babies?)
The gummies were very playful tonight and seemed to want lots of attention, which I would have been able to give them, had I not been so damn tired. So I brought out a little friend of mine to entertain them.
