About me:

Cherie Wimberly is a top model, published author, and former pageant titleholder who got her big break with a four-star victory in the spokesmodel category while appearing on the mother of all talent pageant shows – Ed McMahon’s Star Search. Subsequently she emerged on the covers and within the pages of many notable fashion magazines such as Elle, Cosmopolitan, and Vogue, and made guest appearances on several movies and television shows while continuing her involvement in pageants as the celebrity judge of various state-level and national pageant competitions. Cherie was inspired to create The Ultimate Pageant Notebook series based upon her own personal experiences and unique background as a pageant contestant, top model, pageant judge, and author. She is also the video camera operator and co-star of the new Brett Higgins photography DVD Capturing the Elements: Forks, teaching people how to take great photos using any digital camera.
