Hope everyone has a blast tonight! Really wanted to be there but the price of tickets just wasn't in the budget for a now single mom of two kids!!! Hope everyone is doing well!!! HAVE FUN!!!
No excuses - this will be an event you don't want to miss!
Body: If you are not coming to the reunion, you need a good excuse and a note from your Mom. The following reasons have been tried and are unacceptable.
Excuse #1: I'm a different person than I was in high school
Rebuttal: Lucky for you, we ALL are. Let's face it: we could only have improved.
Excuse #2: I don't look as good as I'd like. I (choose one or more) am bald, have wrinkles, saddlebags, grey hair and no one will recognize me.
Rebuttal: Guess what! You won't recognize anyone else, either. Using the reunion committee as a representative sample, our whole class looks like a "before" photo in a plastic surgery ad.
Excuse #3: I'm not successful. I'm not (choose one or more) a lawyer, a doctor or rich.
Rebuttal: You'll be pleasantly surprised to find how much everyone has matured. We may be plump and wrinkled (see Excuse #2, above) but we're not stupid. Money is not success.
Excuse #4: I was not in a popular clique in school
Rebuttal: Now that we're old and smart, those cliques have dissolved just like the superficialities they were based on. The only cliques you'll notice at the reunion will be the sound of your joints as you walk around.

Our original plans for a DJ fell through so we need your help!!
Since the reunion is paid solely through everyone's registrations (we had a ZERO balance before planning), our budget is pretty much next to nothing unless we get sponsors (More info on this, but basically we're looking for businesses willing to fund/give raffle items for our event).
If you, or anyone you know, can DJ our event in exchange for advertisement on our website and myspace, etc. or any other way you think you could market yourself, please let us know or forward along this plea!

I was 18 yesterday. Probably be 30 tomorrow....where do the years go? I guess that all of you are getting old too though ;) But ya know what?.... I enjoy every year just a little more than the last. I can't wait to catch up with alot of you,
Naomi and Amanda, I know I'm just one small drop in the water bucket but, I would really like to come to the reunion. I will be preparing to move my family to Japan at the end of August. Please let me know if you think it will be before 20 Aug. Thank you both so much.
