  • Bio

Despite being known (and thoroughly indoctrinated by Disney Corp) as jovial and nauseatingly perky do-gooders, Faery are mostly occupied with amusing themselves. They are, in truth, neither good nor evil, and trading with these beings could cost you an eye, a dream, a memory, a story. .... Paid In Fiction continues this tradition, weaving musical threads through busy expressways of weird riffs, thoroughfares filled with crashing beats, lonely alleyways haunted by echoing bass slaps and a voice, siren-like, steering mesmerized seafarers to their deaths. Err, sorry, dudes. We hold to the all-over-the-map approach in the noise we make, and are influenced by everything around us. Our sound: a carnival-like dystopia – weird, sometimes scary, but mysterious enough for you to take an interested second peek. .... Or so we were told by the dodgy hobgoblin, anyway. .... The band still does business with the Fair Folk, and is currently working on a melodic essay outlining feminine power taking flight in its ancient, fundamental form, overruling masculine endeavors in a traditionally male-dominated world – all for a bottle of stardust. .... Or so we were told by the dodgy hobgoblin, anyway.
