Welcome to the Paignton Ladies Rugby page. We hope that you will find the answers to any questions you may have here on this page.

Aims:
The principal aims of the team are to have fun and play competitive rugby.
Social events and fundraising activities
The Ladies' team is very active socially, and hold regular events through the year to raise funds as well as social events just to give the team an excuse to go drinking together.
Training:
Training is held at Paignton RFC on a Wednesday evening, 7:00-8:30pm (please ensure you are changed and ready to start at 7.00).
Wear whatever you feel comfortable with (but not your best stuff as you will get muddy) e.g. shorts/tracksuit bottoms, t-shirt/sweatshirt. Trainers are best for pre-season training when the ground is hard, but rugby/football boots will be required once the ground gets softer.
Gum shields will be required
Bring a drink of some kind (water/squash is advised)
Anyone who is likely to be lifted in lineouts or participating in scrums should ensure they are wearing appropriate shorts (proper rugby shorts are best).
After reading this we hope you will consider giving rugby a go not only do you get fit but you will meet some of the best people ever and have friends for life also have one hell of an active social life. Heres to drinking rugby and a lot of laughs!!!
