Born in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain) , city where he lives and owns a recording studio (Aktiv-Akt Studios) where he composes and creates his music, which can be defined as Electro Industrial in which we can find various different influences such as EBM, Electro-industrial, Techno, Industrial, Dark Body or ambient...

Epidemic is his debut album edited by his very own record company CAUSTIC RECORDS created by Manix S. in 1998 due to the lack of discographic alternatives for this sort of music in our country. Nowadays its been consolidated as the main Spanish company dedicated to edit and export the very best music created here among the vast variety of styles the company supports: Electro-Industrial, EBM, Dark Body, Dark Folk, Dark Ambient, Neoclassical, etc.....

In January 99 Epidemic is liscensed by the company Dion Fortune/ECR. in Germany The album is distributed in Europe, USA and Canada achieving great success beyond our national borders. Due to this fact Pail is interviewed by the main magazines among the European Industrial Scene even repercuting in Rusia, Ucrania or Rumania where the track take it out obtained the 3rd place on the hitlist from Radio Sky in Constanta. Besides, Pail appears in international compilations of companies such as Dependent, Dion Fortune, Flatline, Dystopian, etc.., sharing place with such important bands as Front Line Assembly, Numb, Individual Totem, Wumpscut, Click Click, Suicide Commando, Haujobb, Dive, Biopsy, etc...

Bei Finsterdem Tagesanbruch is Pails second album where four new songs, edited in 12 vinil, appear and where breakbeat, electro, industrial and techno rythms are mixed. The vinil is a 500 units limited edition.This vinil was going to be the advance to Pails second full album but due to various reasons (change and remodelation of the studio among them) was never finished, leaving all other songs in a master that might someday be edited...

Once finished the moving and expansion of the studio (from now on 'Aktiv-Act Studios') we begin to incubate what will be the new album "Towards Nowhere", which is released on January 2005 and edited by Caustic Records. This new work is built upon twelve new songs and is presented in luxury digipack with a 20 pages booklet. Thanks to the good reception by public and critics of "Towards Nowhere", it is licensed and distributed in GAS territory (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) by the prestigious label BLOODLINE (www.bloodline.de) and in USA, Canada and Japan by the USA label NEGATIVE GAIN PRODUCTIONS (www.negativegain.com). ..

A new artwork for the american edition of "Towards Nowhere" will be created by Scott Graig, who has worked for Wumpscut, Kiew, Stromkerm, among others. The edition of this new album makes PAIL appear in compilations of labels like BLC (USA) and Alfa Matrix (Belgium) or magazines like Orkus or Sonic Seducer. With this second album PAIL enters the "Bullets" section of the DAC (Deutsche Alternative Charts) where they stay for several weeks...

In the present time he is working on his third album, whose release date is planned for March 2010...

----------------- BIOGRAFÍA ----------------- PAIL es el proyecto musical de Manix S. nacido en Vitoria - Gasteiz ciudad en la cual reside y donde tiene su propio estudio (Aktiv-Akt Studios) desde donde compone y crea su música, a la cual se la puede definir globalmente como Electro-EBM-Industrial. “Epidemic” es su álbum de debut editado en su propio sello CAUSTIC RECORDS, el cual se crea en 1998 por Manix S. debido a la falta de alternativas discográficas para este tipo de música en nuestro país y que actualmente se ha consolidado como el principal sello Español dedicado a editar y a exportar la mejor música hecha aquí dentro de la amplia gama de estilos por las que el sello apuesta: Electro-Industrial, EBM, Dark Body, Dark Folk, Dark Ambient, Neoclásico, etc... ..

En enero del 99 se licencia su álbum debut "Epidemic" en Alemania a través del sello Dion Fortune/ECR. El disco es distribuido en todo Europa, EE.UU. y Canadá teniendo gran aceptación fuera de nuestras fronteras debido a lo cual se obtienen entrevistas de Pail en las principales revistas dentro de la escena industrial europea, teniendo repercusión incluso en Rusia, Ucrania o Rumania, en donde el tema Take it out estuvo en el puesto tercero de la lista de Radio Sky de Constanta. Además Pail aparece en recopilaciones internacionales de sellos como Dependent, Dion Fortune, Flatline, Dystopian, etc.., compartiendo espacio con bandas de la talla de Front Line Assembly, Numb, Individual Totem, Wumpscut, Click Click, Suicide Commando, Haujobb, Dive, Biopsy, etc.......... ..

“Bei Finsterdem Tagesanbruch” es el segundo trabajo de Pail en donde aparecen 4 nuevos temas editados en vinilo de 12" y en donde se entremezclan los ritmos breakbeat, electro, industrial y techno. El vinilo es una edición limitada a 500 copias. Este vinilo iba a ser el adelanto del segundo álbum completo de Pail pero que por motivos diversos (entre ellos el cambio y remodelación del estudio) nunca se finalizó, quedando aquellas canciones en un master, que quizá, algún día vean la luz..................... ..

Después de realizar el traslado y ampliación del estudio, a partir de ahora Aktiv-Act Studios, se empieza a gestar lo que será el nuevo álbum "Towards Nowhere" que ve la luz en enero de 2005 y que es editado por Caustic Records. Este nuevo trabajo está compuesto de doce nuevas canciones y está presentado en lujoso digipack con libreto de 20 páginas. Gracias a la buena acogida de público y crítica de "Towards Nowhere" éste es licenciado y distribuido en el territorio GAS (Alemania, Austria, Suiza) por el prestigioso sello BLOODLINE (www.bloodline.de) y en USA, Canadá y Japón por el sello estadounidense NEGATIVE GAIN PRODUCTIONS. ( www.negativegain.com). Se realiza un nuevo artwork de "towards Nowhere" para la edición americana que corre a cargo de Scott Graig de CANCERBOX que ha trabajado entre otros para Wumpscut, Kiew, stromkerm, etc... La edición de este segundo trabajo y su buena acogida hace que PAIL aparezca en recopilaciones de los sellos BLC (USA), Alfa Matrix (Belgica) así como en los recopilatorios de revistas como Orkus o Sonic Seducer. Con este segundo álbum PAIL entra en la sección de "Bullets" de los DAC (Deutsche Alternative Charts) donde se mantiene durante varias semanas. ..

Actualmente se encuentra trabajando en su tercer álbum cuya fecha de salida está prevista para Marzo de 2010. ...
