About me:
Contact Tables
Art is easily one of the most important things in my life, now i have started this journey there can be no turning back. I cant imagine a better way to live, learn and progress through life than to be an artist, the artist i'm meant to be, and in doing so become the person i'm meant to be. With progression, the line between the single person as artist and non artist disappears, to reveal a whole artistic individual life. Art can teach us much about ourselves and others, life, death and everything in between. The lessons dont always take a logical form, they are cryptic, veiled between the layers, but they are there, if you want to see them.
Art is food for the soul, a way of life, not just a way to earn a living, so next time someone has the guts, to tell u they're an artist, dont judge they're success on weather or not they make money from it ! Thats about monetary success not artistic success. Dont get me wrong, i have no problem with the idea of making money from my work, but the thought of selling comes after the work has been created, so artistic integrity is not compromised. Moneys great, comments, responses and reactions are better !!, but they all fall short of what it means to 'me' to do 'my' art. My work is a response/reaction to my life experiences, mixed with experimental techniques, a passion for art materials and a whole load of subconsciousness.
Painting and Drawing is my thing, i will probably spend the rest of my days exploring they're infinite creative possibilities, to discover at the end that i still know nothing compared with what they're is to know. I'm fascinated and inspired by darkness, and all that lurks within its intense shadowy depths. I find beauty in the macabre, serenity in chaos, a peaceful introspective space amongst the wall of noise. As i evolve my work continues to change and progress, the lessons never end.
