My name is Marit, although if you know me in "real life," you may know me as Alex. I was born on April 18th, 1989, and am currently 20 years of age. I am Swedish and Irish with some German, Greek, and possibly English or Welsh in the mix, enjoy drawing, painting, amateur photography and anything else related to art, as well as autumn or winter. I used to snowboard, but health and location have held me back from all that fun stuff. Speaking of health, I do suffer from a condition called Arnold Chiari Malformation Variant that causes me constant pain, so I sometimes rant or discuss anything that may be bothering me at the moment regarding that. These problems are simply a part of me, and I am thankful for all the people who go out of their way to offer a word or two of support when I need them.

I'm currently living with my boyfriend Michael in North Carolina, a place which is a helluva lot different from where I grew up in SoCal. I'm pretty much bouncing back and forth between the two states, so I can't really say I have a permanent home for the time being. That being said, I've met a lot of interesting and unique people over here in the South, and being able to talk with and get to know them has allowed me to grow in confidence and gain some new views on life, so I am very grateful to have experienced all that I have here.
