We are Painted Lady Performance Project, a DC-based collective that combines elements of dance, theatre, sculpture, new media, activism and fantasy in our performance works. We create conceptual environments, beautiful spectacles, and theatrical works through the medium of Live Sculpture.
Founded in 2005 by ayo ngozi and Tazima Davis, Painted Lady has collaborated and performed with musicians, DJs, fashion designers, filmmakers, video artists, and visual artists in Washington, DC, Philadelphia, and Brooklyn.
