I am a survivor of the following: Homelessness, truck wreck (where we hit a cow and destroyed the truck) motorcycle wreck, neck surgery (and my father dying the same week), blowing a disc in my back, mother dying in my arms, blowing a hole in my lung where the the air went into my chest cavity, being bit in the face by a boxer, falling out of a tree and landing on my neck, hitch-hiking across the country with a girl friend, a bad marriage and divorce (no children- divorced 2000), having a hundred pound 4 drawer file cabinet being dropped on my head from 10 feet up and having my neck broke. The list goes on and on. I have eclectic taste in people, places and things. I love meeting people and making friends and find everyone has an interesting story to tell. I am an unashamed follower of Jesus Christ and this page is dedicated to my savior, my friend, my mentor. WARNING: However, the views in my blogs, and bulletins are not up for debate. • Television

I'm usually pretty busy to watch much television these days, but I have an eclectic taste in viewing as well as everything else. I prefer the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, CNN and the local news stations, the weather channel when the weather calls for it, cartoons when their available, any racing show (I love Nascar), lots of sports, preferably football, and some other weird, silly stuff from time to time like "MXC", or something to sink my brains into like "Mythbusters"

About me:

Hi, my name is Jim Green. I'm a self taught professional artist from Austin Texas, now living in Waco. I've been doing art since I was 3. I was "discovered" by a Professor of Art at the University of Texas in Austin in the 7th grade, where one of my drawings was used as a proper example of how to do a drawing for his art classes. I've had many solo and group exhibits and my art work is seen world wide on my other website. Many of my works are in private collections and many are owned by celebrities. I do portraits and other works on commission and sell my original one of a kinds. My primary mediums are pencil, pen and ink and oil paints. I consider myself a "thinking" artist as many of my works are symbolic pieces, but I'm just as comfortable to doing a sunset. Please drop me an email for prices and other considerations. I am an unashamed Christian who follows Jesus. My artistic talents are a gift from God and this page is simply to share that gift with others. This page and my life is dedicated to HIM.

Who I'd like to meet:

Jesus. And any interesting, artistic, or intelligent person(s) or groups of people. YOU! Chuck Jones-Warner Brothers animator and director and myself. Chuck is seen holding the portrait I did for him Portrait I did for Elvira-Mistress of the Dark aka Cassandra Peterson The Door oil paints on canvas board. 1980. This represents the duality of man. The light bulb is the body, the candle the soul, and the sunlight reflected through the window pane is the light that surrounds us all. This poem is very sweet. It will be interesting to see who sends it back.
Forward this on and back. Thanks!

If I could catch a rainbow
I would do it just for you
and share with you its beauty
On the days you're feeling blue.

If I could build a mountain
    You could call your very own;
    A place to find serenity,
    A place to be alone.

If I could take your troubles
I would toss them in the sea,
But all these things I'm finding
    are impossible for me.

    I cannot build a mountain
    Or catch a rainbow fair,
But let me be what I know best,
    A friend who's always there.

    This is a Hug Certificate!!
Send One to All Your Friends Who You Think Deserve A Hug
(Which, Hopefully Includes the Person Who Sent It to You).

You might send it to your enemies as well!
    It'll really tic 'em off!
If you receive this back 2 times ... You're off to a good start,
unless you sent it to yourself. That's cheating!

If you receive this back 3 times. You're a good friend.
If you receive this back 4 times
..... You are popular I wanna be just like
