Formed in the foetal months of 2009, north London trio Paintings of Ships produce the sort of nautically-charged shoegaze you'd expect from their name. Combining the scuzziness of Sonic Youth, the sonics of Nirvana and the nirvana of something maybe a little bit like Blur, it's a blurry (geddit?) mix of melody, fuzz and emotion. This is what happens when London, Stockton-on-Tees and Leicestershire unite.

Sorry guys, my guitarist can't make it that night so I'm not going to be playing.
I'm glad you brought it to my attention as I sent an email to the guy the 23rd of October after jumping the gun on booking the gig and re sent it again to avoid any confusion. I'm hoping to play there eventually but need to rehearse my material a bit more. -x- Eleanor
