Atwater states, "As a pioneer in the USA in evidence based art medicine and art for health by having the healing benefits of my Paintings That Heal,,scientifically and alternatively documented, I believe that we are offering a new healing modality which will be physically effective, emotionally, mentally and spiritually therapeutic, and easy to administer without pain or side effects and medical complications.
The healing power of art is enormous, and art becomes the therapy in art that heals.
I also hope my Paintings that Heal inspire others to activate their talents and encourage those that are aware that they already demonstrate some of these abilities to become more accessible to the people
that can benefit from their artwork. Paintings that Heal are particularly supportive in facilitating health for children, the elderly, and those in critical, chronic, degenerative or delicate health situations."
How did this all start?
I'm one of the contemporary American artists/ painters that is bringing forth a new cultural renaissance by blending her classical artistic training with spirituality and energy infused into paintings. I've successfully licensed artwork for 30+ years.
I first discovered the powerful phenomenon of Paintings That Heal, during commissioned
work in March 2004, creating Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), for the cover of the University of
North Carolina Center for Functional GI & Motility Disorders annual report. My client asked me
to paint a picture of the disorder. When finished, I was inspired to channel the Healing Energies
for IBS and paint it on top of the original image.
Amazingly, over a year later, the Painting still
measures the sames electromagnetic charge of Healing Energies as it did at inceptions and continues to be a source of healing on a deep cellular memory
level for those battling the irritable bowel disorder.
br>To maximize a Painting's benefit, position it to receive optimum ongoing exposure to its Healing Energies on a daily basis. It is not a requirement that the
Painting be viewed on any particular schedule. Once a Painting's Healing Energies become part
of an environment, one continually benefits from it energetically by means of harmonic resonance

Just being in the presence of the combination of energies of a Painting That Heals,,
is what actually alters & heals the viewer's physical and energetic body.
In contrast, The healing response in art therapy is generated by the "patient" making a piece of artwork. Art therapy work is not infused with channeled Healing Energies. According to the American Art Therapy Association, art therapy is based on the belief that the creative process involved in the making of art is healing and life enhancing.
The enticing energy and evocative coloration of her paintings make Brent's diversified styles highly sought after by collectors around the globe. The inaugural art show at the at Unity Church featured friend John Serrie's music.
Through the 80’s and 90’s B Brent Atwater was a highly licensed, collected, exhibited, televised, and widely sold American photo-realistic, and impressionistic artist. At age 16, the North Carolina Museum of Art chose one of her paintings for their permanent collection. "PBS" did a TV program on her artwork, and she has been featured on TV's "PM Magazine","Crook and Chase" & interviewed on numerous TV and radio shows. Her work has been in many major national magazines ("W", "Town & Country", "Robb Report",et al) and newspapers. Her artwork and designs for Shaw rugs, FS Schumacher, Waverly, Neiman Marcus, Orvis, Domestications, Pot Pourri, USGA, Horchow, JC Penney's, etc, are seen in many national catalogues and retail stores.
