Yamil Piedra and Johnny Trabanco are A PAIR OF NUTS! This Emmy Winning comedy duo has been performing together since 1998 where they met in college at Florida International University in Miami, FL. Selected by Campus Activities Magazine as “Hot Comedy” for 2011, their work has garnered them critical acclaim and they have been featured on Comedy Central’s Tosh.0, Last Call w/ Carson Daly, VH1, BET, Discovery Channel, and MegaTV. They've received millions of views on their on-line videos which have been featured on MySpace, YouTube, FunnyorDie, and CollegeHumor. They’ve headlined at some of the top comedy clubs in the U.S. and have performed at military bases and colleges nationwide, receiving standing ovations where ever they perform. They’ve been invited to perform at the Los Angeles Comedy Festival, the Los Angeles Improv Comedy Festival, the Miami Improv Festival where they won “Best South Florida Performance,” and headlined the preview night at Comedy Central’s South Beach Comedy Festival. They are the stars of the hit Spanish language sketch comedy show on MegaTV “El Vacilon,” where they were recently nominated for the Suncoast Emmy Awards for writing. They introduced a new style of comedy never before seen in the Spanish market and worked with some of the biggest Hispanic celebrities including Wilmer Valderrama (That 70’s Show), Tony Plana (Ugly Betty), Luis Guzman (Carlito’s Way), and Steven Bauer (Scarface), to name a few. Bringing non-stop laughs, Yamil and Johnny also starred in the VH1 reality show Money Hungry. Their live stage show is an award-winning multimedia sketch comedy show that combines hilarious live sketches, off the wall short videos, and numerous costume changes. YAMIL PIEDRA (The Big Bald Nut): Yamil was born in Havana, Cuba and arrived in Miami in 1980 by way of the famous Mariel boatlift. A graduate of Florida International University with a BA in Theatre, he's appeared on Last Comic Standing, Comic View, Las Vegas, Boston Legal, & Burn Notice. Yamil has also taken part in several stand up comedy showcases including Comedy Central’s Open Mic Fight, NBC's Stand Up for Diversity, and a Just for Laughs Showcase. In 2007, he was featured in Ocean Drive Espanol Magazine’s "En Caliente" (What’s Hot) section... JOHNNY TRABANCO (The Little Hairy Nut): Johnny, a father of 2, was born in Miami to Cuban Parents and has been performing comedy since 1998. He's taken part in several stand up comedy competitions in the South Florida area including taking the top prize in the first ever Miami Improv Comedy Derby and the Annual Miami Improv Turkey Contest. Johnny has worked with a number of touring comics including Doug Benson, Christian Finnegan, and Jo Koy.

My main goal is to appear and perform my original poem, "Half Hearted," on The Ellen Degeneres Show. I've been working on this goal for 2 years, and I can't give up.
