I write historical romance western, unpublished as of yet, but am working to change that. My pen name is Paisley Kirkpatrick. Just finished my third story (NIGHT ANGEL) which is based in the 1849 gold rush era. Since we live in the area where the gold was found, it's easy for me to do the research first hand. Now I am working on another story (PREY OF THE HUNTRESS) set in the same town called Paradise Pines, 1853.
I have been the president of the Kevin Sharp Friends Club for over 13 years and consider working with Kevin to be one of my most treasured blessings. We've been able to share in the joy of his interaction with his audiences, help with his work raising money to stamp out cancer, and participate with his roll as spokesperson for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
My husband and I love to travel. We spent 23 days driving through the Highlands of Scotland October, 2007. The country and the people were beautiful beyond words. Cannot wait to return to explore even more. My Mother's side of the family came from the Highlands so we were able to trace their clans and bring home tartans. It was like going home for me - especially a beautiful town called Callendar near the Troussachs National Forest.
