Palaris is the collision of driving guitar riffs, tight rhythms, and catchy melodys all brought together by four guys' dreams. In less than a year Palaris has gone from total obscurity to being the featured band on Purevolume.com, playing large festivals, and touring all over the US to promote the release of their first full-length album. These guys will tell you though - it's not about what you do, but how you do it. The music is both fun and serious, as it takes an honest look at the issues of life.
Dean, Tom, Jon, and Drew came together in the summer of '06 with the intention of writing catchy, fun music without sacrificing musicianship. As the life of a previous musical project came to an end, lead singer and guitar player Dean Purificato decided it wasn't the end for him. With bassist Tom Oppelt at his side, they called up Drew Hart on the drums. Having met him while playing a show with his old band, they knew he was just what they needed. To top off the mix, their friend Jon Masella joined in on second guitar and the group instantly clicked. With all members having experience in past bands, they immediately started writing songs so they could get back into playing shows and making new fans.
In just a year, they've gone from casual friends to becoming brothers. The Palaris boys are all about having fun and making memories, and put their hearts into every single live show so that you can too. They're small town guys, with big city dreams.
