Music and religion have the same immutable ability to inspire and provoke the banal, carnal, inherently mortal passion necessary to motivate humanity’s lofty, quixotic tendencies. The same centers of the brain respond dramatically to these seemingly disparate institutions perhaps alluding to the mirror-image of their conjoined birth. This however is where Pale Timmy diverges without subsequent subterfuge. Religion chose, for the most part, mendacity, Pale Timmy, however, chose to forge new tools with which to create an entirely homogeneousness basis for what we call harmonic literature. This is not an attempt to revolutionize the religiously reinstated harmonic orthodoxy against which Galileo is mentor/founder. Even the Church of excommunication communicates that Music must evolve even when it is intelligently designed. Standing on the intimidating shoulders of Galileo’s harmonic scale, Viennese Arnold Schonberg arrived at the twelve-tone technique that challenged classical style to evolve or at least adapt and his concept still challenges the conventional, pervasive Galilean harmonic scale found in all mainstream music. .. .. The scales have been tipped and turned inevitably toward the tide of Worldwide, not regional influences. Not just trip-hop, not just African, and not just the plastic trappings of cochlear or retinal art. The alternative love of music, of sex and of the bushy eyebrows rising above the sleep-encrusted lashes of last night’s dinner exclusively serve the regal, pampas royalty of our commitment to this craft where failure is inspirational.
