PALE was born in 2001, founded by Nick Müller and Martin Baumann. It all began as a kind of Alternative Metal band, but throughout the years the sound changed more and more into what it is now: Heavy guitars meet melodic vocals and old Folk instruments, leading the listener into unknown, hidden worlds behind the one we know.
Up to now three demos and an EP have been released:
'Forgotten Tales', 2002, recorded at Pale Homestudios
'Beneath the tree of wisdom', 2005, recorded at Pale Homestudios
'Aeternitas', 2006, recorded at Pale Homestudios
'The Bridge', 2007, recorded at 132Studios in cooperation with producer Daniel Theis
Currently the band is working intensively on their ten-tracked debut album 'Midwinter', which is dated to be out in Summer 2009! Watch out for it!
Put together the first music video for one of the songs, that being for the song "Eel Marsh House", which is based on the movie "The Woman In Black". Wasn't sure to name it that instead of 'Eel Marsh..." ...Eel Marsh House being where the woman in black 'lived', and now haunts it. Though, she seems to haunt the general area of the village as well as the House. If anyone catches her gaze, looks into her eyes....a child will die, usually from the family of the person unfortunate to look at her. As you see what happens to the story's main character at the end.
