This self titled work consists of two extended pieces recorded at MPS studio in 2007, hinged on deep electroacoustic explorations rich in gesture and texture.
Hello Palindrone Recordings. Thanks for being a friend of Ammonites'. I'm not sending a picture this time, because we sent one to Seht and The Stumps etc, and we've used all our good ones up. You know, it'd just be repeating ourselves.
Keep up the amazing drone research programme you've got going there. xxxAmmonites.
The Sea Organ (morske orgulje) is located on the shores of Zadar, Croatia, and is the world’s first pipe organ that is played by the sea. Underneath, there are 35 pipes with whistle openings on the sidewalk.
The movement of the sea pushes air through, and – depending on the size and velocity of the wave – musical chords are played. The waves create random harmonic sounds.
