Pete Falloon - Vocals/Guitar Matt Palmer - Guitar/Vocals
Pete Falloon is best known for his previous work with his brother Matt, as part of Brothers Falloon. The two built a solid reputation on the London music scene in the late 1990s, with their modern roots songwriting, brilliant harmonies and exciting performances.
Their first EP 'River of Love' found airplay throughout Europe and found fans as far away as South America and Australia. It also caught the attention of indie label Nesta Records, who asked the pair to contribute 'Break In The Weather' to their compilation CD The Songmakers Project Vol 1, which included songs from Bert Jansch and Billy Bragg. The 'Project
saw the two brothers tour throughout the U.K. and further develop their
energetic live performances.
Their second EP 'North Star', released in 2002, cemented the duos
reputation as leading lights on the roots music scene and introduced the
marvelous Paul Everest on drums. Brothers Falloon released their
inspirational debut album 'Modern Harmonies' in 2004 on Nesta Records,
aided again by Paul Everest and also bass maestro Alan Sugar.
Matt Palmer is a guitarist and songwriter for Brighton-based rock band ANEMO, which also features spectacular vocals from Hazelle Woodhurst and production wizadry from Kingsley Sage. In 2004 the band were signed to the New York independent label City Canyons Records.
The trio's debut album 'Slowburn' was released to critical acclaim on
both sides of the Atlantic and returned top 10 positions on U.S. College
Radio. ANEMO have toured throughout the U.K., showcasing their songs in
a simple acoustic format and also with the full seven-member rock band. Their live performances were recognised by the Classic Rock Society when they won 'Best Live Band' in 2006.
ANEMO's new single, the anthemic and thought-provoking 'Pray', was
released in September 2007 and is based on an account BBC reporter John
Simpson gave when his convoy came under U.S. friendly fire in Iraq.
The second album - Stentorian - was released in October and features extensive contributions
from the ANEMO live band.
Matt also plays guitar for the fantastic Exeter-based covers and function band LUSH
Palmer&Falloon is the rather unimaginative stage name of a strange musical entity, comprised in equal parts of Pete Falloon and Matt Palmer..
Matt and Pete started writing and performing together over the summer of 2005 and can be found playing around the Exeter and Southwest at venues such as The North Bridge Inn and The Picture House.
Please also check out the magnificent Smoke Feathers, featuring Matt Falloon on vocals and guitar.
Great to hear from you mate, and I hope you had a good holiday! Settling into Hobart now and loving the place, it's so chilled out - a lot like Exeter and the SW actually, which was the idea. I hope all is well with you too, and with Pete and family. We miss you guys and hope to see you in Oz before too long :-)

Hey Guys! hope all is well. It's finally here – our new second album "Stentorian".
Featuring 11 new tracks it's certainly DARKER, STRONGER and LOUDER than our first album "Slowburn". With a more aggressive and live rock sound, the album takes you on a journey through war zones, drug addiction, piracy and sibling rivalry. We wanted to make an album that reflects our live sound – a rollercoaster ride of grinding guitars, powerful drumming and passionate, sweeping vocals.
Stentorian is released on the 13 October and our new single from the album "MusicBox" is out on the 29th September. Check out our page to listen to the new sample tracks taken from the album. hope you enjoy! cheers - Anemo Watch our video for our new single "MusicBox"
