| General | 6th Annual Symposium on Nutrition and Chiropractic - Sept. 20-21
The theme for this year's symposium is "Conquering the Obesity Epidemic." The keynote speaker will be Morgan Spurlock, star and producer of the documentary film "Super Size Me" and MTV's "30 Days" and author of numerous topical books. Mr. Spurlock will address the problems that fast food consumption causes and what can be done to cut back on the obesity epidemic.
The Symposium will take place in Lyceum Hall on Palmer's Davenport Campus. About me:
Palmer College of Chiropractic is the founding college of chiropractic and was established in 1897 by D.D. Palmer. I have three campuses: the Davenport Campus (main), the West Campus and the Florida Campus.
The Davenport Campus, also known as The Fountainhead, is located in Davenport, Iowa, only blocks up from the mighty Mississippi River. It is the largest campus of the three.
The West Campus is located in San Jose, Calif., in the greater Bay Area. This is the second oldest campus, established 26 years ago.
The Florida Campus is located in Port Orange, Fla., right next to Daytona Beach. This campus opened in 2002.
