About Palms Up

Welcome. This is Palms up, the three-piece outfit in the corner. A sexy drum kit, the colour of an elegant red wine. A tasty double bass, leaning against the wall, and an honest acoustic guitar, delighted to be there. Let your hair down, take off your shoes, were gonna sing for you. Palms up was formed in 2005. Both Dave Bryant and Julian Taylor are young accomplished musicians who studied at Beau Soliel music school in Cape Town. Matthew Davison has won various song writing competitions. Palms up has already seen one of their songs reach no. 1 on UCT radio.
