(well, maybe that was a little too dramatic) :) but in all honesty, knowing your a star and a real human being that cares for her fans "a whole oven mits worth" enough to keep us updated really keeps me motivated to keep checking this myspace thing. hopefully all is well with you, and that you get yourself into a movie theater soon to see "the Dark Knight". I was one of those many in line all day the night of, dressed and cheery. Its AMAZING! even if your not a huge batman fan, or comic fan, or even action kinda gal, i personally think it defines a generation. it's got a cult following of its own, and i think it definately worth giving a chance. I was just talking about it with someone the other day actually. Tangerine Dream's song "Love on a Real Train" was on the radio, and I mentioned that they used that song to good effect in "The Squid..." even though it's so closely associated with "Risky Business. "

Are you ready to get back to work on your -what's that?- oh yeah, Emmy-nominated-for-best-comedy-series-yet-again show? Congrats! Of course, the show deserves not just the nomination, but the win because it is consistently hilarious, well-acted, and just all-around awesome. Personally, I think it should win on the strength of Dinner Party alone. I still think that episode may be the single funniest half hour on tv ever. Sucks that you were robbed of a personal nomination, though. Clearly, they weren't paying attention because you were brilliant as always last season. Oh, well ... there's always next year. And this way you can just enjoy the Emmys without the added pressure of oh-my-God-what-if-they-call-my-name-and-I-have-get-up-there-all-by-myself-and-give-a-speech. So it's not all bad. And we'll all keep our fingers crossed for next year. Also, we'll all keep our fingers (and toes) crossed for Steve and Rainn ... and of course, we'll all be hoping that the show picks up another much-deserved win! Who wouldn't love that? And hey, any chance you'll be presenting? That would be fun, huh? Maybe they'll ask you and John Krasinski to present an award together. THAT would be adorable. So congratulations again! Now get back to work already because I'm missing my Office Thursdays! Seriously, September 25th can't get here soon enough!
