My history starts back in the wonderful world of fashion. Spending years on
that circuit, my face graced print media, television and runways; appearing
in several top magazines, commercials and talk shows around the country and abroad.
I came into the music scene as an exceptionally versatile singer, performing in some of the most prestigious venues in the nation including the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, the Brooklyn Aacademy of Performing Arts and the infamous Hollywood Palladium to name a few.
I write my own music and am presently working on a one woman show called "Pamela's Dreams". This show will reflect many different styles of music about life and the laughter, love, loss, hopes and dreams that come with it.
Residing in Chicago, I also have a 7 piece band "Rhythm City" (Rhythm-City.com) and its one of the midwests best. With a repertiore spanning 4 decades of many genres, we bring energy and elegance to countless events and are known to keep a dance floor packed.
My newest project involves a song (..1 on my space) released 15 years ago. The UK is proud to announce my return as being one of the biggest coups in dance history. "Kickin' in the beat" is not just another re-release using the original 1992 vocals; but is a freshly re-laid mix done by me this year. That was followed by an awesome video.
Being absent from clubland over the years I was unaware that the original acappella version was used on numerous re-workings, bootlegs and a vast array of compilations, making it an all time classic house track and making me one of the most sampled and recognizable voices in electronica music. Cool huh?
I also have a band called "Floorgasm". Hot and alot of all house music. It's what made me a diva, so I must comply.
With global exposure with subsequent original material to be released; written and performed by me. I'm bringing the glamour of the past to the present and taking it right on into the future.
Whats up? I found this site and thought i'd tell everyone, it shows you if anyone at school likes you. I dont know how it works but its really cool, it told me a couple different people who have crushes on me since gradeschool. You gotta try it!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Artists and Listeners for their continued support throughout 2006, and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
