I am a Theatrical Multi-Voicer/Stage Manager, Writer, and Lyricist/Composer affiliated with Broadcast Music Inc. since 2003, and was the youngest member of The American Film Institute (AFI) from the 1970’s, until Drew Barrymore caught up with me. I caught the acting bug as a Jr. Rat Pack Member on Jack Lord's Hawai’i Five-O set, in Hawai’i, where, as a toddler, I studied and performed the hula, and several languages, and also on Robert Redford’s film set for ‘The Candidate’ (Southern California) set in the late 1960’s. We then MOVED…to Northern New Jersey, where I was thrown BACK into theater and music. Recording was a thing that ran in my family, both my parents were child and teen actor/singer/dancers linked to Paramount , CBS, and Broadway in NYC and California, and Harlem independents in the 30s and 40s, and I can often remember being recorded on reel-to-reel at the Thanksgiving or Christmas Dinner table in some crazy family history story or relaying the latest and greatest jokes we had thought up.
I later performed in shows, choruses, and glee clubs in junior and senior high school joining Drama Clubs and then had to choose between Scripps, CalArts, and Pepperdine University. Smothers’ Theater WON ME OVER! I attended Pepperdine University, studied Theatre Arts (Performance, Design, Technical/ Stage Management) and Music (Vocal Performance) under such notable instructor as Marowitz, Henderson, Neilson (Acting); Osborne, Cole-Adcock (Classical Voice); D(w)yer (Dance); Taylor (Technical Theatre and Design and Drafting, Production Management). While at Pepperdine University, I worked in The Smother’s Theater’s Work Study Program with: The Joffrey II Ballet, ABT II, The Call, Kelly Coleman (Dan Siegal, Producer), The Flying Karamazov Brothers and many other musical, dance, and theatre groups that performed on college campus tours.
I’ve worked professionally with The Kraine Theater: ‘Twist’; Manhattan Theater Source: ‘Twist’; Kean University Theater: ‘Dracula’, Ten Tenors, The New Jersey Ballet’s ‘The Nutcracker’, The Lakota Sioux Dance Theatre, and other groups on tour; BPAC, Rebel (nightclub), The New York Theatre Workshop, Manhattan Theatre Club at Manhattan's City Center, The Vineyard Theatre, The Women's Project and Productions at The former Judith Anderson Theatre, The Jewish Repertory Theatre, The American Globe Theater, Downtown Cabaret Theater, and Downtown Children’s Theater in Bridgeport, CT, The TAW of Westport, CT, Boston Post Road Stage Company, in the Fairfield Arts Center and at The Westport Country Playhouse and in California, at The 1st Spanish Music Awards (USC).
Thank you so much, that responce made me cry. Im very grateful to you for telling me that. It gives me more hope as I hope to drawn fans in for the music not the fame. Thank you. you have put up sales ms Pammy? Do you have a book?
