Influences
I have always been able to find inspiration in my role models; legendary artists like Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, and of course, my father, But I am equally inspired by the fresh, young talent on the country, Americana, and even alternative sides of music.

"There's so much great music out there right now, it just feeds my soul. I hang out in record stores an awful lot. I hope this new album reflects some of my adventurous taste in music.
In a business that can be so impersonal at times, I admit that this latest project is "nothing but personal" to me. If you see a live show of one of my Tour dates, it is hard to ignore the dynamic between me and my band. I've has developed such a bond with my musicians and crew, i've been building a club/rehearsal hall to nurture the band's creative energy. Just like the old days when the whole band lived in one house.
This new album is organic. It's country, it rocks, it has spiritual overtones, and it's a blast to play live.
I can tell you what it is like to win big awards, sing on Broadway, and sell platinum records, but I'd much rather change the subject to the future. I've traveled a million miles in my career, The next million don't scare me a bit.
Rhinestoned comes out April 17th!

here is a regular grill rotiserie, you should be able to adapt it to your needs you shouldnt have to baste as much just keep tabs on your temperature you don't want to over cook it

Reserve some marinade for basting. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Preheat grill and skewer lamb securely on rotisserie rod. Cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours over low heat. Baste with remaining marinade every 15 minutes. When finished, remove leg of lamb from grill and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
