About Pam Wolfe

Hi there

I’m Pam Wolfe and I’m glad you stopped by myspace. I guess it’s about time I got here, as ALL my friends and “cohorts” in the music industry have been on myspace for a while now…. but better late than never, right ?

A little about me

I began my career in music performing as a solo act (piano-vocal), in venues from Martha’s Vineyard to New Orleans. After landing in Nashville, I began singing demos for publishing companies and background vocals for record labels. Somewhere in the process of singing so many kinds of songs, I began writing my own. I have had some great successes - my songs have been recorded by Garth Brooks - It's Your Song on his Double Live CD and Take The Keys To My Heart on his Sevens CD, by Patti LaBelle - Don't Block The Blessings on her Flame CD, by Johnny Cash - Woodcarver, and songs by Lacy J. Dalton, Glen Campbell, Tompall Glaser and others. I’ve had a few disappointments as well, but music has always carried me through even the hardest of times.

Venus A Love Story

One recent musical endeavor which I am extremely proud of is a musical play entitled Venus A Love Story, which I co-wrote with Conrad Reeder. Venus has its own website, listed in Pam Wolfe Websites, where you can hear excerpts from each song and read a synopsis of the story.

Poof A Puff Of Wind

After reading many books to my sons, Sam and Jonas, when they were very young, I wrote and illustrated my first children’s book Poof A Puff of Wind, which includes a CD of me singing the story and performing the music. Poof also has his own website, listed in Pam Wolfe Websites as well.

This past year has been a very creative one for me. I’ve had the opportunity to co-write with some wonderful writers and artists. Their talent has been a great inspiration, and I am grateful for the songs we have written. One of my very favorites, For You, which I co-wrote with Chaise and Sarah Koehler, is one that you will hear in the music player. You will also hear I Give, which I co-wrote with Wyatt Easterling and Charlie Allen, and it was a thrill to hear my son Jonas Wolfe singing the vocal.
