About me:
I lied. I'm not 98 years old. I'm actually in my mid-thirties (which is a nice way of saying on the back end of the mid rather than the front.) I don't look like Veronica Lake, either, but I do have that same swoop to my hair so I pick her when I need a picture. (And she takes a damn good picture.)

Who I'd like to meet:
Hell, I'm easily star-struck. Let's just say anybody famous and it'll be true. I even tried to think of one or two really important people to me and couldn't. Anybody I thought of was immediately followed with what in God's name I would say to them, and it was pretty much all jibberish, unadulterated fawning or outright hysteria. None of those are pretty looks on me so I just don't think it's fair to subject anybody to that, alive or dead. I really don't.

Um, so I'm late. I have trouble getting online lately... in fact, am waiting for IRMs in black helicopters to swoop down on me at any moment, since I'm taking undue advantage of yet another reception session & usin the interweb illicitly.

Hope you guys are having a good middle of the week weekend!

Yeah, been there done that.
I just randomly decided to make a new one, then didn't like it, made another, didn't like it, and ended up replacing it with an old reliable.

Hi Pam-u-la,
I miss you. When do I get to see you again? We had an awesome group...AWESOME! I keep thinking of what you always say. The Universe will unfold as it should. I just keep that in my head.
Kate

You will most assuredly be subjected to stupid stories. The thing is, I like to tell them repeatedly sometimes.

I'm thinking that by like the 3rd time or so I try to tell you one, I might be risking the OHCS.

I'll have to cultivate new victims for the reruns, I guess.

So, the whole story is on my blog, but after sleeping (and eating) on it, I've decided that if they call me back, I'm going to tell them NO, and that their benefits package is reeediculous. I thought about trying to get them up to 37k, but I think it still wouldn't be worth it.

I mean, no sick time for a year??? I WILL get the flu, or something, over the course of a year. And I don't want to stress about money the whole time I'm sick. 1 week vacation? And it doesn't roll over?!

No, thanks. I don't have to trade good benefits for good salary. (Regardless of what Steve may think, I've had both before.) I've got the luxury of time to look for both.
So...
NEXT!

You know, at the time, I appreciated the Lombardi treatment, because I was muzzy enough that that was what was required to get me to understand what I really ought to do. I felt guided more than pummeled, since my head was safely wrapped in foam rubber at the time. Metaphorically.

It is possible, however, that a certain bot was a wee bit more riled up over things than really was necesssary. But that's cool, it got me to get a sandwich. (Yay, sandwich!)

ANyway, you ever go look at the website ETSY? It's pretty fun, check it out.
