About me:
I was born in Japan and came to the U.S. in 1989. I have studied ballet, jazz, modern, flamenco, Afro-Caribbean, yoga and Bharatanatyam. I created Paneer Project in 2002 in order to create contemporary dances that reflect our multi-cultural reality.

I started to pursue Butoh in 2005. With online tutorages from Mr. Rhizome Lee (www.subbody.net)in Dharamsala, India, I have been exploring the darkness within my body.
