Pangea started back in August 2004 and consists of two DJs [Special Ed & Professa Fresh] two MCs [MC Troubla and AC] and two artists [Jekt & Jzy]. We put on shows every month dispalying audio and visual talent from around Scotland as well as consistent performances from our residents.
For over 3 years now we have been putting on some of the heaviest, filthiest and friendliest parties on the Scottish DNB scene with an eclectic array of music from our own DJs and a wealth of Scottish talent to the backdrop of live art performed by our artists on the night.

PANGEA is a collective of DJs, MCs and artists influenced by combined elements of Hip-Hop and urban dance music. After a year rocking the scene in Edinburgh we moved to our permanent home and base, Dundee's Reading Rooms. Now 3 years after throwing our first party the collective is expanding to include Glasgow's Barfly where as always we'll continue to bring you the finest and freshest selection of Breaks and Drum & Bass.
Our residents Professor Fresh, Special Ed & MC Troubla will be rinsing it out every month accompanied by Guest DJs and MCs from across the Scottish scene and beyond - all to a backdrop of Live Graffiti from Resident Artists JZY & JEKT.
Since 2004 we've prided ourselves in bringing you face to face with raw young talent from the Scottish scene, complete with original visuals and the friendliest vibes in town. Thats right, from the 12th Oct onwards Pangea will be running a monthly night at the Glasgow Barfly! For our first night in a new city we figured we better strip things back to basics and show you what pangea is all about, filthy Drum and Bass, Djs, Mcs and Live graff art from the resident Pangea crew.
