Pangolese is a three-piece band that came together in early 2001. There sound is blend of loud melodic power-pop-rock and new wave combined with the aggressiveness of post-punk. Heavy guitars, feedback, teamed up with aggressive bass lines and pounding rock drums, topped off with catchy vocals and dynamic performance, this captures the Pangolese sound.
Live, the band flails around almost insanely keeping up an intense amount of energy and excitement. Pangolese is, The loudest thing I have ever heard(Ronnie Martin, Joy Electric). In addition to playing live shows with Joy Electric, Pangolese are complimented by such greats as Pieball, Starflyer 59, and Nantucket Suicide.
Pangolese started touring from the start and have now successfully mastered California, Oregon, and Washington. In addition to the west coast Pangolese have successfully toured as far East as Wisconsin and as far south as Arkansas. Pangolese thrive on the road and tour as often as possible

Marisol and Gai were on their knees, hands cupped over their ears with tears running down their faces. It was difficult to keep my eyes open, but they revealed something terrifying. The silhouettes on the horizon were moving faster, much faster. They were sprinting towards us with frightening speed. I ran to Marisol and Gai and grabbed them both by the arm—pulling them in the direction of the truck—but Marisol resisted.
I threw a pointed index finger towards the growing horde running towards us and mouthed inaudible words. Finally Marisol saw the figures coming towards us and started running back towards the truck. Rusty was firing shots into sprinting creatures on the other side of the highway before looking back towards us. Looking over my shoulder revealed the shadows were no more than half a minute behind us. The monsters no longer moaned: they screamed.
