Panic Movement formed in the spring of 2006 in Los Angeles, California. The band derived its name from the performance art collective established in 1962 by Alejandro Jodorowsky, Fernando Arrabal, and Roland Topor. Panic Movement is an amalgamation of individual band member influences and personalities. Various artists such as The Beatles, Sonic Youth, Killing Joke, Joy Division, The Kinks, and the Electric Light Orchestra have influenced members of Panic Movement. Psychology, spirituality, cinema, and the punk DYI ethic have also influenced the band. Gouge out your right eye. Panic Movement band members are Benjamin Espinoza, Richard Bermudez, and Tony Siqueido.
It is our hope that you have been well, happy, and healthy. As for us, we are working on new songs for our new CD, which we plan to have out by early 2010. We are playing a few of those songs live at our shows. Currently, we have shows scheduled through November. They will be our last shows for at least a few months. After we finish with our scheduled shows, we plan on getting into the studio and recording our new songs. When the songs are ready, we will be posting them on our myspace page.
