About me:

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us The first MMA Girls® video was the uploaded to youtube in 2006, and the newly created myspace page had thousands of friends soon after. An enormous amount of messages started coming in from fans that wanted to know our picks for MMA fights. It became a necessity for me to create the first prediction video because I just couldn't keep up with writing each fan with my picks and thoughts about each fight. Nearly two years and several million technique and prediction video views later, MMA Girls® is a force that will not be denied. MMA Girls® now sponsors a few female fighters and is always looking to help support this fast growing sport and give back to the athletes that make it what it is. I personally answer 100% of myspace messages and I strive to make a connection with MMA fans around the world.

One of my goals is to convince non-MMA fans that this is truly a great sport that has grown beyond its early roots of being promoted for its brutality. MMA fighters are some of the most skilled and well conditioned athletes in the world, and they deserve recognition from mainstream media. Look for MMA Girls® to continue bringing you unique video content from a female perspective of the fight world.

Sometimes it takes me a while to return messages, but I look forward to talking with you online. Also, please register at MMAgirls.net and comment on the videos, articles, and blogs I post there. If you have a company that would like to sponsor a technique or prediction video, or if you are interested in booking me or one of the fighters for an appearance, please contact MMA Girls® management at panicpulse at gmail dot com.

Love ya,
Joanne

    Yahoo!

It’s one thing to steal Fedor Emelianenko and retain the rights to Gegard Mousasi, now Strikeforce may have awakened the beast by stealing Dan Henderson from the UFC. Henderson, who has been pining for a title rematch against Anderson Silva, finally gave up on that possibility and is going to sign with Strikeforce according Yahoo! Sports’ Kevin Iole.

The obvious fights for the 205-pound Henderson have to be Mousasi and newly signed Mo Lawal. There may not be a ton of depth for Henderson to run through but at 39-years-old he’s clearly jumping at one final chance at big money and an opportunity to fight on network television.

UFC president Dana White has often called Strikeforce, "Strikefarce" saying Scott Coker’s promotion is too small to swim in the deep waters:

"They should’ve stayed the way they were," White told Cagewriter back in August. "They want to fight me, we’re gonna fight. You know how that goes and you know how that ends. They’re a small-time show that’s trying to act big. It’s a joke. It’s a tiny little regional show with nobody in it."

White took a risk with the way he handled Henderson’s contract negotiations. Henderson, a free agent, said on repeated occasions that the next fight he wanted was the Silva rematch (lost to Silva back at UFC 82). Silva was promised to the winner of the Henderson-Michael Bisping fight at UFC 100. Henderson scored a devastating knockout of the Brit and thought he had gotten his Silva fight. White changed his mind later in August, stating that Henderson should fight Nate Marquardt with the winner facing Silva. It seems like that was the turning point for Henderson, who has now bailed on the promotion.[/QUOTE]

    Love your default, Btw :)<b
