Bio

Hi folks,

Are you really interested to know when and how Jean-Yves met Michael and why Björn joined them later? If so, just send an e-mail to info@panictv.be in order to get a detailed bio with all the infos about the past line-up of this band from East-Belgium (= the small German-speaking part of the country). If not, let’s get to the point.

First of all, do you want to label Pan!c TV’s style? O.k., let’s call it Indie-Alternative Rock as recorded, and Dance-Punk when played live. In other words: it rocks! And it makes you move! Since November 2005, the trio has played about 100 dynamic and energetic shows in the Benelux and in Germany.

The guys won some contests, they were support-act for Hallo Kosmo and for H-Blockx and had the possibility to share the stage with some other well-known artists like Puggy, Von Durden, Kupid Kids, Romano Nervoso, El National Quarterback, Miyagi, Nieuw Zwart Trio feat. Mauro Pawlowski, Little Trouble Kids (ex-Boston Tea Party, feat. Tim Vanhamel), Pandora, Team William, The Brew, Blue Velvet, Pornorama, etc.

Some live references are: “Schlüsselloch” Aachen (D), “Bear-Rock” Andenne (B), “Ferme Madelonne” Gouvy (B), “Chez Bouldou” Liège (B), “Vibrations”-Festival Malmedy (B), “Eupen Musik Marathon” (B), “Alternative Project Rock Festival” Nivelles (B), “White Rabbit” Freiburg (D), “Prilpop”-Festival Venlo (NL), “Beach Days” Esneux (B), “La Taverne du Théâtre” La Louvière (B), “Rock’Eole”-Festival Estinnes-au-Val (B), “Fiesta City” Verviers (B), “The Spirit of 66” Verviers (B), “WoodyWoodstock”-Festival Nivelles (B), “Trixtraxfest” Antwerp (B), “Fête de la Musique” Esch/Alzette (L), “Let There Be Rock”-Festival Vielsalm (B), “Belgorock” Manhay (B), the “Durango Sessions” @ Radio Benelux (gig + interview) etc.

The band released 2 self-produced EPs in August 2007 (called “Clean Machine”) and in April 2009 (“Your Personal Programme Guide”). In September 2009, 3 Pan!c TV-songs were released on the compilations “The Egg – Take 2” (by Sunny Side Up Records) and “Thatoubon! 2” (by Thatoubon! àsbl).

Some radio references are BRF1, Radio-Support, Radio Quartz, Pure FM (selection for the contest PureDémo, May 2009), Vivante FM, Radio Contact, Radio Centraal Antwerpen, Radio Benelux, Studentenradio Greifswald, etc.

Check the press-releases below to know what the press and some promoters think about the band.

In 2011, the band wants to present you a new EP or even an Album. Therefore, they are working on new stuff (after a first recording session at Studio La Chapelle, Waimes, in May 2010) and will play less gigs than in 2009 or 2010.

Press

in German:

[…] (Website BRF, August 2009)

in French:

[…] (Vers l'Avenir - Actu24.be, April 2010)

[…] (Thatoubon! àsbl – Compilation “Thatoubon! 2”, September 2009)

[…] musique pop-rock. Dans la lignée de Two Star Hotel. Même les vocaux sont aussi déclamatoires. […] (Contest “PureDémo” on Pure FM – Saison 4, May 2009)

[…] (Website Culturalta àsbl, March 2008)

in Dutch:

[…] (Website SugarForLife.be, December 2010)

Trixtraxfest: […] […] (Websites Muziekcentrum Trix & vi.be, April 2010)

Hey!? […] (Prilpop-programmaboekje, April 2009)
