Panorama Steel Orchestra, a steel pan orchestra in Japan consists of 35 people (now increasing!). The leader is Yoshihiro Harada, one of the most famous Japanese steel pan player, composer, who co laborate on music with various artists as Toninho Horta, LITTLE CREATURES, Lisa Ono, Yasuharu Konishi, and so on.
Their music is soft and gentle, cheerful and passionate. Besides cover tunes of pop music and Latin songs, their original tunes with improvisation has a sort of Japanese emotion.
In 2004, they released the 1st Album "Panorama Steel Orchestra", joined by Saigenji and Miyuki Hatakeyama as guest vocalists, and the 2nd Album "JUMP UP JAM" in 2005. Their live performance is impressive, emotional, stirring! They appeared on TV, at Expo 2005, the biggest art exhibition "GEISAI" promoted by Takashi Murakami, and a campaign of Starbucks all over Japan. They are widening their sphere of activity and the mass media watches them.
On March 28 of 2007, they released a live album with DVD "LIVE ALIVE". And this summer they perfomed on FUJI ROCK 2007!!

Hey friend!!! Seven Doors Hotel is a friendly place! We're currently putting the finishing touches on our 2nd album. 11 songs have been recorded, and now we are doing the last overdubs before mix. The album will feature Mark Olson of the Jayhawks singing on 2 songs.
