Panos was born in Cyprus, but grew up in London, UK, and Athens, Greece, taking the best of both cultures. In 2000 he moved to Brighton to attend a course at City College, in Popular Music Performance, and has remained there ever since.
He has been fascinated with music from a very early age (both his parents were musicians, and his sister is a soprano), so naturally he decided music was the way to go!
Panos holds a degree in music from Goldsmiths' College - University of London majoring in Voice (jazz/popular & classical music). He also attended various other conservatories and colleges including: Nakas Music Conservatory (Athens), Kensington & Chelsea College (London), City of Westminster College (London), and City College (Brighton) to further his musical education.
Over the years he has performed in many venues all over Europe, including: The Royal Festival Hall (London), The Imperial War Museum (London), The Hilton Hotel (Athens), The Brussels International School (Belgium), and The Brighton Festival (Brighton), to name but a few. His music has been featured on the radio in the UK, Greece & the US, and he has also appeared in a few short movies either as an actor, or as a musical consultant, and has also worked on several stage plays as the musical director.
What you hear in Panos's music is a fusion of all the musical genres he has experienced throughout his life (and there have been loads!). He doesn't have one particular genre he likes the best (although he finds Jazz exceptionally enjoyable to sing), so you will find all sorts of styles within his music. Panos writes, records, performs, and produces all the music he writes on his own, which he feels he had to do, as he couldn't find many who shared his enthusiasm for different genres of music. It also means he can create all the things he can hear in his head!
Panos is constantly writing new material, so watch this space!!
