We are a band from Cambridge that has been playing together as Panteraplan since the start of 05' and have been playing together as musicians for the last 11 years! Being HUGE Pantera fans and following the tragic death of the LEGENDARY 'Dimebag' Darrel Abbot, we decided to start up a tribute to the band that turned us on to heavy music... Pantera.
Hopefully the fans will see that we have stayed true to the name of Pantera and we aim to give the full Pantera experience with EVERY show we give.

Al - Phil Anselmo:
A yo-yoer, a Paintballer, a Magician, a guitar player, an actor, a car enthusiast most most importantly.... A singer.
Al is a stage trained singer that has addapted his massive lung power to the sound of awesome metal. He has been singing in a band capacity for the last 10 years and has been a guitar player fo the last 16 years. He dedicated a good 3 hours a day to practicing sounding like Phil Anselmo, talking, acting and singing the part... I'm sure you won't be dissappointed!***************************************************************************************************************************
James - Vinnie Paul:
James is the most dedicated drummer we, as a band, have ever found. When auditioning for the Panteraplan drummer, we went through 5 Potential Vinnie Pauls. When we heard James (dispite the audition being the first time he'd used a double bass pedal) we knew it was fate. Power, rhythm and above all, the will to learn. He is known as the 'Milkman' for his over exuberant endings and incredibly fast fills.*********************************************************************************************************************
Sam - Rex Brown:
Sam is not only a brutal bass player, he is also quite an amazing guitarist! He is a person that excells in everything he does, he is one of the cleverest people we have ever known, studying Law and IT and completing his first term top of his year! He is commited to his sound and has paid for as must of Rex Brown's sound as he can afford. A large framed man, doesn't quite look the part but can play as close to Rex Brown as anyone is going to get.***********************************************************************************************************************
Chaz - Dime:
Chaz is an experienced and amazing guitarist. Learning guitar after seeing Pantera play with Megadeth MANY years ago. He gives everything he does is all, a bodybuilder, and athlete can outrun pretty much anyone. To get to his current level of play, he practiced on a stopwatch for 5 hours a day, watching videos of Dime and stidying the methods that made the man. He has addapted his style over the last year and we feel that he is as close looking and playing as anyone is ever going to get. He spares no expense in buying the genuine gear that Dime used on stage. He has the look, sound and indeed the alcohol content to achieve a true Dime.
