Feeling the tempting pull of a rubbish bin, Fanny finally gives in and raids it finding a bottle of cider. Fanny promptly guzzles the cider, with the result that it messes with her head and makes her do strange things like taking her clothes off...bad fly!
HAPPILY EVER CADAVER A love story with a rotten twist ;) - in the process of being revamped with new costume and props!
OFFICE CHRISTMAS PARTY A Christmas act, but also has a version to suit all year round! Fanny has a few too many tipples and decides (as many do...) that karaoke and a strip show is a great plan!

About me:
Hi, I'm Fanny Divine - a Manchester based burlesque performer, promoter and model (although temporarily based in Wolverhampton). I have been performing regularly across the country for over 2 years (for a list of some past shows see further down) and I recently won the Burlace Beauties competition, sharing first prize with the lovely Veronika Valentine.
As a burlesque performer, I try to mix the classical glamorous side of burlesque with a good helping of comedy! For a list of my acts, see the 'general' section. For the past 2 years I have organised cabaret/burlesque events under the name Carnival Divine. I held regular events in both Manchester and Chester and I was also lucky enough to be involved with London Fetish Weekend 2008 as a partner & put on an event in Brussels for the arts festival Subfest towards the end of 2008. Although Carnival Divine has now taken a back seat, it is only the beginning of my work as a promoter - so watch this space!
Music wise I love rockabilly, psychobilly (although still a newbe to this, so feel free to recommend bands to me!), metal, 80's glam rock and sometimes I'm even a little bit country!
I love glamming it up in corsets, stockings, expensive lingerie, pencil skirts, ridiculously high heels and rubber! But will also be seen relaxing in my crop jeans and flats :) I love lazy nights in, but not as much as I love crazy nights out! Favourite past times are performing at nights round the country, roadtrips, film nights in with lots of munch, going to gigs and festivals, drinking cider, and rocking out with my girlies!

Welcome to the darkest summer in the history of Birmingham burlesque, and the culprit behind this black summer? None other than Gehenna of the Silk Stocking Striptease Show. However, never fear, bringing the light to the event will be Angel LaVey of the Silk Stocking Striptease Show. Whether you want something, light and comical or dark and deviant, the 9th Silk Stocking Striptease Show will have something for you. Pick your poison, light or dark, we have it all and we guarantee to satisfy your cravings.
The Silk Stocking Striptease Show Nine will be taking place on the 8th of August 2009 at The Flapper Pub. Tickets will cost you £7.50 in advance from www.birminghamburlesque.com and will be on sale until midday on the 8th of August. You will be able to buy tickets on the door at £9 each, subject to availability. The doors to the show open at 7:30pm and the show will begin at 8:30pm.
