From Johann Sebastian B. to Mr Rheinardt, such a long list... the genial hawaiian musicians from the 20's-30's, Fernando Sor, Casey Bill Weldon, the Mill's Brothers, the Duke, Oscar Aleman, Gus Viseur, les Frères Ferret, Blind Willie Johnson...
Plus musicians which influenced me on the lap steel: el maestro Bob Brozman, my friends Fred Kinbom, Jim Petit, Andrea Bonino, the great sliders from the Slide Planet label Mike Neer, Steinar Gregertsen and Christiaan Oyens.
And a deep thanksfulness to musicians like René Lacaille, Ali Farka toure, Edin Karamazov, Murray Perahia.
Je serais en concert au Sattelit café dans le cadre du festival de world music "Sur la route des sons" le mercredi 25/11/09.
Le Sattelit café, haut lieu de la musique du monde, à la programmation écletique et passionnante, se trouve dans le IIème arrondissement au 44 rue de la folie Méricourt.
En espérant vous voir nombreux pour ce concert dédiée aux guitares slide, à la Terre et aux rêves.
Je présenterais mon nouveau spectacle Turna Tero, un concert de poésie en espéranto, inspiré par les couleurs, notes et émotions des 7 chakras...La musique de ce spectacle est un métissage de la musique classique indienne, de la musique mandingue d'Afrique de l'Ouest et de blues. Je serais accompagné par Matthieu Jardin (kora, tablas, bolon, goni, cajon et choeur). A ne pas me manquer !!!

Thanks! I like your gypsy touch on the tricone! We've mixed in some gypsy stuff also with Hot Club De Finlande on the new record. It works very well with the Hawaiian stuff! I'm also waiting for the record...:-)
