Music
OLD SCHOOL ALL THE WAY!! Styx, Queen, Beach Boys, Lynard Skynard, Smashing Pumpkins, Temptations, Blind Melon, Billy Idol, Sex Pistols, Capitols, Beatles, AC/DC, Led Zepplin; it's all good to me. I like jazz and classical music, too. Some rap, too, and some alternative junk. I like some newer stuff, too; Greatness in Tragedy, Man-o-War, Bowling for Soup, The Killers, Stroke 9, Middle Class White Boys, Dr. Dre/Eminem/50 Cent (the whole triumvirate), D-12, Tenacious D, Newsboys (old school again), The Roustabouts (my band down here in Florida), Fallout Boy, Relient K, ect. But for me, it's really all about the classics!

Movies
Indiana Jones, Star Wars (the old ones), Lord of the Rings, The Princess Bride, Tombstone, Phantom of the Opera, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Kevin Smith stuff, Time Bandits, James Bond stuff, The Last Starfighter, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie, Serenity, The Patriot, Jaws, The Chronicles of Riddick, Airheads, The Alamo (the old one), Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2, Casablanca, and most recently Batman Begins
Take the quiz: What Star Wars Character Are You? Han Solo Your sarcasm is remarkable. Because of your harsh childhood you have become excellent at supressing your emotions and appearing driven only by money, but you do have a soft side...
House, Scrubs, the Pretender, Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel, Greg the Bunny, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Futurama, Fullmetal Alchemist, Firefly, and the occasional foray into Psych and The Dead Zone.
Books
Nothing really recent; Peter Pan, Treasure Island, The Once and Future King, The Lord of the Rings (all three), The Hobbit, Lord of the Flies, Franny and Zooey, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Lathe of Heaven, The Highwayman, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World, Starship Troopers, Piercing the Darkness, This Present Darkness, Torture Garden, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Three Musketeers, The Man in the Iron Mask, A Night to Remember, The Iliad, Beowulf, The Odyssey... I'm kind of a classics lover. Oh, but I also like new books, like Jurassic Park, Out of Time, A Night to Remember, The Night Lives On, and A Time to Stand.
Heroes
Heroes are, in my opinion, people who do great things; yet, at the same time, what makes them so great is that they weren't born with any more capacity to do those great things than you or I. So, that having been said, Jesus is NOT my hero. My savior, yes... hero, no. My grandfather, my father, and Moses are my heroes as of now. I mean, come on... Moses was buried by God himself at the end of Deuteronomy... that's quite the honor. Dude must've done something right, lol. I also look up to Mr. Rogers, from Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood; I know that sounds wierd, but he was a very upright, honest individual who dedicated his entire life to making other people's lives better. That's quite a feat. Lesser heroes include Davy Crockett, the Geico Gecko (no joke... I'd roll with that homie) Ann Coultier (the HOTTEST Repblican conservative author ALIVE!) and Michael Chrichton. Brian from Family Guy has also been known to inspire me in times of crisis.
I write anything and everything... all fiction except for a couple of historical stories, and even those are mainly fictional. Right now I have a trilogy I'm working hard on, as well as an adult fairy tale (adult as in mature, not pornographic!).

About me: Well, what do you want to know? I'm going into my (third) senior year at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and I must say I like it a lot more than I did when I first started going there! I recently did an internship at Walt Disney World, but for the most part I hated it. It DID teach me a lot about my family and friends and how much they mean to me. Being isolated can do that to a person. I love to write; and while I feel called to the ministry (I'm a Southern Baptist, by birth AND by choice), my passion will always be writing. Creating far-off worlds, populating them with valiant heroes and villainous brigands (and sometimes muddling the difference between the two) is a thing of beauty to me, and I can only thank God that he's given me the talent necessary to pursue that passion well. I love companionship; whenever I meet someone with whom I can share something, my life immediately becomes better. I'm still looking for that lucky girl who has the creativity, passion, flair, and patience (lots of it) to draw me in and never let me go. Hakuna Matata!
My pirate name is:
Bloody Davy Kidd
Every pirate lives for something different. For some, it's the open sea. For others (the masochists), it's the food. For you, it's definitely the fighting. Even though you're not always the traditional swaggering gallant, your steadiness and planning make you a fine, reliable pirate. Arr!
Who I'd like to meet: I'm a people person. I don't have a million friends, but everybody knows me and just about everybody likes me. The people who don't like me are the annoying SOB's who don't get along with ANYONE! I can't stand those kind of people. If you think you're the "shiz-nite" and that you're the coolest person in the world, don't come near me. People like that drive me insane! If you're down to Earth, kind and considerate, and want to live life to the fullest, then we'll get along fine.
