We do have our own unique style and sound BUT we have been told numerous times that we remind folks of the Grateful Dead, JGB, Allman Brothers Band, Doobie Brothers. Recently we were told that we sounded like psychedelic reggae (at least at times). Darryl Cherney called us ARCATA MUSIC....I like that...Arcata music!
PAPA BEAR is an acoustic/electric jam band that combines skilled guitar work, groovin' rhythms, and crystal-clear vocals with elements of rock, reggae, funk, folk, jazz, worldbeat, and blues.
