Christmas Day is an annual holiday that commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ. It is celebrated on December 25, but this date is not known to be Jesus' actual birthday. Christmas is celebrated as a major festival and public holiday in most countries of the world, even in many whose populations are not majority Christian. Merry Christmas!
