Ces dernières années, en plus de composer pour le Papasoff Qtet, il a signé des musiques de film tel "Le fugitif ou les vérités d’Hassan" de Jean-Daniel Lafond (2006) et "La lune viendra d’elle-même" de Marie Jan Seille (nomination pour un Génie meilleure musique, 2004).
Comme réalisateur, il a collaboré avec Dawn Tyler Watson et Paul Deslauriers pour "...en duo" (disque de l'année Lys Blues, 2009) et "My Favorite Distraction" de Coral Egan (réalisateur de l’année ADISQ, 2004). Comme arrangeur, on le retrouve sur "Nocturno" de Bïa (2008) et l'album éponyme de Geneviève Toupin (2009). L’acteur Papasoff a tourné pour Denis Villeneuve dans "Next Floor" (Meilleur court métrage, Cannes 2008) et avec Franck Blaess dans "In Cold Love" (2009) où il détient le rôle principal.
Nous avons entendu son saxophone avec des artistes du calibre de Hamiett Bluiett, Karen Young, Matt Herskowitz, Donny Mc Caslin, Pheeroan Ak Laff, Baikida Carroll et Claude Ranger.

Most renown for his work on baritone saxophone, Papasoff is also a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, producer and actor. Recently, on top of writing for his quartet, he scored the documentary “American Fugitive: The Truth About Hassan” by Jean-Daniel Lafond (2006) and Marie-Jan Seille’s feature film “La Lune viendra d’elle-même” (Genie nomination for best music, 2004). His credits as a music producer include Dawn Tyler Watson and Paul Deslauriers’s "...en duo" (Record of the year, Lys Blues Awards, 2009) and Coral Egan’s "My Favorite Distraction" (Producer of the year ADISQ, 2004). As an arranger, his work can be heard with Bïa’s “Nocturno” (2008) and Geneviève Toupin’s self titled album (2009). Papasoff has acted in Denis Villeneuve’s “Next Floor” (Best short film at Cannes, 2008) and he holds the leading role in Franck Blaess’s “In Cold Love” (2009). As a saxophonist, he has shared the stage with creative musicians such as Hamiett Bluiett, Karen Young, Matt Herskowitz, Donny Mc Caslin, Pheeroan Ak Laff, Baikida Carroll & Claude Ranger. The baritone saxophone has become an integral of his body as he developed extended techniques to actuate the instrument into modern times.
