In all likelihood, your words are Sharpie-d into my scrapbooks. Your novels line my shelves, spines broken in, pages dog-eared and highlighted. I’ve probably thrust your books into the hands of my friends saying, “Read this and don’t you dare lose it.”
But, you may be one of my Someday Authors. One of the “when I have the time…” writers that currently fill ¾ of one bookcase in my office. Or you may be a writer a friend insisted I check out, or one I’ve read about in my searches on the web and through newsletters.
Whether you are an established favorite, or soon to become one, I built this page for the same reasons. I am using MySpace as a means to (eventually) reflect on my own editing process and to network with fellow YA (and A) authors. I’m also offering my services as a reviewer/previewer and as free advertising -- I'm a book merchandiser for a large independent bookstore in Cleveland, Ohio. I am more than willing to work with authors and publishers to get your titles to my readers. And I would LOVE to have you visit our store.
I am hoping to launch a site for my own novel, which I started during NaNoWriMo 2007. My New Year's Resolution is to have a completed manuscript ready for distribution by December 2008.
I am looking forward to networking and reading with all of you. Feel free to send a Friend Request or a message if you think I can be of help!
